Lean Six sigma Green Belt (LSSGB)
Overview
This course discusses the analytical tools that are used to measure and evaluate project performance. The course focuses on the skills and tools required for defining, measuring, analyzing, improving and controlling project processes. It discusses the Six Sigma approach for improvement and examines how it can be applied to various project activities. To facilitate project effectiveness, you will be taught how to identify significant performance gaps and how to use those gaps to generate potential projects. You will also learn how to properly define, scope, and present projects to peers and managers. We will also provide guidance on transitioning and closing out existing projects.
Objective
The essential objective of this course is to train an individual regarding requirements of the Six Sigma methodology. DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) & application of the class room training on one of the selected practice improvement project.
Who Should Attend
The Six Sigma Green Belt operates in support of or under the supervision of a Six Sigma Black Belt, analyzes and solves quality problems and is involved in quality improvement projects. A Green Belt is someone with at least three years of work experience who wants to demonstrate his or her knowledge of Six Sigma tools and processes. individuals from all disciplines including Practitioners, Managers, Executive Champions, Deployment Champions, Project Champions, and all others involved in any aspect of improving engineered products and processes, business processes, and services that want to be Certified as SIX SIGMA Green Belts.
